Lists, tracking purchases

Anyone else find the list feature on the site absurdly opaque or unnecessarily complex?

Like... why can't I just click a link and it shows me every title Ive purchased? Or why can't I click the title itself and it automatically has the Have It tag?

Why can't I just click a Save or Add button on a title I want and it goes to an intuitive wishlist? Like every other retailer website on the internet...

When I view the list page now, it feels like a puzzle... or like something from the early days of the Web. What am I missing?

Circa 1993-94 I picked up a pair of tan-ish suede Simples. I wore them religiously for more than 8 years until the heels got too worn down.

I also got a second pair a couple of years later of what I assume were a lesser/cheaper style, in black suede, looking more like the standard OS that the new incarnation of the company now sells. Those also lasted several years but had a cheaper sole and felt altogether less premium than the original pair.

Anyway... the first pair was by far my favorite sneakers ever. Perfect fit, perfect feel, sturdy, and stood up to near-daily wear for almost a decade.

2 part inquiry here...

  1. Anyone familiar with the style pictured? Despite finding the photo online I haven't had much luck finding details about them.

  2. Any opinions on the shoes now being made under the Simple name? I've heard both negative and positive.
