Hi all. I'm trying to get this list cut down a bit, and hoping some of you nice folks might give me some ideas on which of these I can either pass on or maybe look into later. I do plan to place a fairly large order, but not quite THIS large. So I'm hoping there's some on this list that some of you might say "seen XXXXX, not worth buying" or "definitely buy YYYYY".

I should mention that I'm a fan of VS's sci-fi, horror, adult content, and virtually anything "so bad, it's good".

From the 2026 Halfway to Black Friday email I got today…any guesses?

Does anyone know of the existence of a definitive list of all the drive-in collection dvds? I’m looking to catch em’ all.

Looking for more recommendations and would love to hear what everyone plans on grabbing.

Right now I plan on grabbing the Larry Fessenden collections and The Golden Child

I guess my expectations were too high, but the majority of these films are just really bad. I got the hot and saucy pizza girls set, and that was the only fun movie. California gigolo and hot legs were awful. I also got the ribald tales of canterbury and tasty, which also were both lame. Neon nights I had high hopes for, but that was a letdown. Maraschino cherry was the only one that was mildly good. A couple of them I’m just going to resell. Does anyone have any recommendations for melusine films that actually have a plotline? Jamie Gillis is really ugly to me and I can’t stand looking at him.

Straight thought for the potential 90s splatterfest secret release I had the other day. How about it being...

FROM DUSK TIL DAWN???

It's mid-90s. VS has put out a bunch of Dimension titles from that period (The Prophecy, Nightwatch, Office Killer.) It's certainly a splatterfest. And we all assume that the master of "on-screen murder" is a horror guy, or even the director. But it is written by Quentin Tarantino, who is most definitely a master of "on-screen murder."

I heard rumors of a 4k being in development.

Anyone have any kind of evidence to prove me otherwise? An announcement I may have missed?

Anyone have any suggestions for light-hearted/comedy titles from Melusine that I might pick up during the sale? The sillier/funnier, the better. Or even titles that are parodies or "so bad they're good". My wife will put up with these if there's a bit of a laugh.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, it's not a Melusine title, but she quotes the film "Viva!" all the time. 😃I wish Vinegar Syndrome would put out Anna Biller films.

Please note: If you used order stacking but one of your orders ships without the rest, don't worry! This can happen for a number of reasons, and we will ship out any remaining orders ASAP. You'll receive tracking numbers for each package that ships to you. 

7) Will there be any Sweepstakes during the sale?

8) Something I recently ordered is discounted for Halfway to Black Friday, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer partial refunds on fulfilled orders or price match on existing orders. If your full price item hasn’t been fulfilled yet, please place an order for the product at the discounted price and reach out to customer service. We can cancel and refund the original full price item.

9) Do you have quantity limits on Limited Edition releases?
Yes, all limited edition releases on the site are limited to (1) copy per customer. Subscribers, your subscription package counts towards this limit.
If any packages contain more than (1) limited edition of any given release, the extra(s) will be refunded upon shipping. 

10) What are your HBF shipping policies?

11) When will you begin shipping orders?
This year, HBF orders will begin shipping out on Wednesday, June 3rd, starting with Subscribers, followed by Flash Pre-Order customers, and then regular sale customers. 
Note: Since shipping will begin after the start of Partners Only month in June, order stacking will be available for customers who want to continue to add to their HBF shipment (before it ships)!

12) How long will it take for my HBF order to ship?
We have hands down the best shipping crew in the business and we will do everything we can to get through the fulfillment backlog as quickly as possible without sacrificing on quality and service. That being said, please allow 3-4 weeks for your package to ship. If you do not receive your shipment notification by the end of June, please contact usso we can update you on your order. 

13) Where is my package?
Each year we get numerous emails from customers asking when their order will ship out. While we are always trying to improve our ability to ship out orders faster, we ask that you please be patient with us. If at any point you are unhappy with the amount of time it is taking for your order to ship, simply ask us to cancel your order for a full refund. If you need to cancel your order for any reason, send us an email and we will refund the order, no questions asked.

14) My order is stuck ‘In Transit’ and the tracking number has not updated for a few days, what should I do?
If your order has been sitting at a carrier facility and has not updated, don’t worry, it should still be getting to its destination. We can assure you that once you receive a tracking number, your order has either left our building or will be leaving the following day. If there has been no movement on your package for longer than normal please reach out to your local post office or FedEx facility first. They will be able to track down your package for you. Once packages leave our building they are out of our hands and are the responsibility of the mail carrier. If your package has been ‘stuck’ for 30 days or longer, then you can reach out to us and we can figure out a solution for you. Otherwise we please ask that you give your package ample time to get delivered to you.

15) Item X has sold out, can I call dibs via email in case you have any extras stock?
No. After everything has shipped out, if we have additional inventory on items the were previously “sold out”, the additional inventory will be re-listed on our website once the site relaunches.

16) Will your retail stores have the new releases?
Our Vinegar Syndrome stores in Bridgeport, Denver, Pittsburgh and Toronto will have most of the new releases in-stock on Friday, May 22nd. Their in-store prices will also reflect the sale prices on the website, so be sure to stop by to enjoy the sale in person if you're local!

So usually when I stack an order, they all get sent together. I made a big purchase and then later in the same day used reward points to stack another item to the order. Today, the initial order was sent out but the stacked item hasn't been. Anyone ever have this happen?
