What's your favorite song and why?
I'd love to know, out of all the albums, which of Petey's songs is your favorite and what does it mean to you?
For me, "Breathing the same air" could play on repeat all day and I wouldn't get sick of it. I've entered the age where all my friends are either moving away, having kids, or both. I'm finding a lot aging comes with a bit of involuntary isolation and it's tough. One of my oldest best friends moved across the country and really retracted the effort they were putting into maintaining a friendship. It came to a head and now we just don't talk anymore. These are all just facets of life I'm sure but no one prepares you for what it will truly feel like therefore "staying occupied makes everything less hard". The song can mean a few things depending on my mood but it's my number one.
