New necklace I made

I finished this necklace last night.

It is one in a series I've been working on.

It is crocheted and has an interchangeable dangle (as seen in picture #2). The neck piece is moldable to one's neck, it is also very light weight.

Crochet felted exposed

Thank you for asking about my crochet felting journey.

I started in 2000 and have not looked back.

I get to do the two things I love crochet and felting.

Here are a few of MANY works of crocheted felted I have done.

Crochet felting?

Do you allow crochet felted items in this site?

I crochet in wool then felt my pieces. Just wanted to know if they would be accepted in this group?

I have a Pretty Punch addiction.

I have an addiction to Pretty Punch Thread! I was at a garage sale the other day and she had a bag full. Oh dear all for $2.00.

The first picture is the new haul.

The second picture is all the glittery ones (new and old).

The third picture is the haul from last year

The fourth picture is the organization of what I all ready had before the last year's haul.

I hope that I do not find anymore as I think I have more than I will ever use.

What do you think I should

I have been working on another necklace. I love the centerpiece but I am not sure about the side piece colors.

I would like your opinion on the choice.

  1. Gray side piece

  2. black side piece

You can see in the last picture the side pieces I am talking about.

Thank you for your input

Orbs I've been making

This year and last year I started an obsession with making crochet felted orbs. Each one is different. Here are just a few that I have made.

Bracelet

I wanted to see if I could make a bracelet using the technic I have been making necklaces.

Here are the results.
The main decorative piece has interchangeable center so I can match it up with a different outfit.

I crocheted it in gray #10 thread on a #9 steel hook and a single crochet stitch.

It is reasonably comfortable as the band is slightly squishy so pressure on the wrist is not bad. Not any different than wearing any other bracelet. I am able to attach and unlatch it myself.

This will be a one of a kind as the work and mechanics are labor intensive. Also the decorative piece I only have the one.🙃

Crochet felted

For about the last 15 years I have been felting my crocheting. It is a passion I share along with crocheting.
I have many, many examples that I share on my website. I’m not sure I can post it here as I don’t want to break any Reddit rules.
Some current ones I finished
Woolly worms
Firecrackers
Wall art
Orbs/ Ovum whichever you prefer.
Thanks for looking.

Crocheted necklaces

I have been inspired to make some statement necklaces. Here are a few that are completed. More are planned. These are light weight and slightly flexible so it can be contoured to your neck and shoulders.
