Fully loaded 15' Uhaul AND a toy hauler?

Apologies if wrong flair, it's the closest thing I can think of.

I tried searching the sub to see similar posts, but didn't find anything specific enough to my question. We are moving about 425 miles in a couple days from GA to NC (completely flat to WNC mountains).

My question is about weight capacity and towing capability - I currently plan to fully load a 15' Uhaul and tow my '88 C1500 (roughly 4000 lbs) on a Uhaul toy hauler flatbed.

Now that I'm loading up the truck, my gut is telling me this is way too much weight between everything. Is that true? Or am I overthinking it?

I don't have exact weight measurements and am unsure of how to gather them. But its roughly 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and 1.5 bath worth of stuff, with some extra stuff that wouldn't fit placed in the bed of my C1500.

Very unusual post, but I've always felt like this law firm commercial song felt right at home as one of Achenar's themes. The leading percussion, synths, dark ambient pads, overall sense of unease...

'88 C1500 stalled on highway. Started back up after about 30min. Temp gauge was normal. Thoughts?

Title. I'm assuming it just needs a new ICM but am open to other thoughts. All gauges were within normal ranges right before it stalled.

Rear passenger wheel locked up on '88 C1500. What are the first things to look at?

Title. Had to get my truck towed due to it getting stuck in mud, but turned out it was mainly because the rear passenger wheel is locked up. It skidded the mud when when they started pulling it up, but when it got onto the flatbed, it started rolling again.

I'm quite new to working on cars so I'm unsure of the first things to investigate.

Brake system? Bearing?

Had to share my wins today (update from granddad inheritance C1500)

This is my original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/GMT400/s/W2lGjkYOfM

Thank you to everyone who gave me the confidence to keep this beauty!

Today I fixed the overheating issue by replacing the 22" rad with a 28" one. I DO have a 28" shroud installed, I just forgot to take a pic with it on.

I also fixed the blower by replacing the motor and resistor, which feels like a HUGE win. Next will be recharging the AC to see if it has a leak somewhere. Open to suggestions on tackling this

Took it out for an hour long drive along the Georgia marshes. Absolutely stunning.

In over my head, but willing to learn. Question in description

There's a lot I want to ramble about, but I'll try to keep it short. They key points are:

  1. I am not a car guy, but have always wanted to learn

  2. I inherited this 1988 C1500 Cheyenne from my granddad. 91k miles on it. Maintained relatively well, but obviously ended up sitting more than being used.

  3. It has problems. Biggest ones at the moment are needing a transmission rebuild ($2800), new radiator ($200), and need to troubleshoot why climate control doesn't work at all (panel works but blower never turns on. Bad motor?)

  4. The real kicker is that we are planning to move out of state soon. We have 2 working cars already, so this would need to be transported up if I can't get it fixed in time

I've been tinkering with the truck for about a month and have loved it. Aside from the recent transmission issues, it runs like a dream. But the cost of the rebuild feels too much right now.

Should I transport it to the new place and keep working on it? Or cut my losses now?

Hot Springs Alcove

I have this strange fixation with hot springs, so here's a quick afternoon PSX-style scene I did in Blender.
