The Time Josh Ruben Almost Killed Me

This episode of Pete Holme’s podcast i listened to maybe 15 years ago and is one of the hardest times I’ve ever laughed. This snippet in particular is what got me, just talking about sad old folks.

I laughed so hard that I eventually couldn’t breath, I was alone in my bedroom visiting my parents from College and I fell to my knees trying to catch my breath. I eventually laid on my side and still couldn’t inhale, basically suffocating on silent laughter. I thought “not the worst way to go” before I finally caught my wind back.

Cut to a decade and a half later, after watching Dropout for five years or so, I started to think “there’s something very familiar about this dude’s voice.” And that’s when it clicked and I remembered the time Josh Ruben almost killed me.

I probably oversold how funny the recording actually is, but I hope y’all at least get a good chuckle.

Is this not a prequel?

Have they said anywhere that this is a prequel or a sequel?

Regardless of characters looking like ones we know (they’re all drawn by Chinatsu so of course they look similar), has Intelligent Systems said it takes place after 3H?

It can’t be because Sothis is more adult-like, she’s a God with time-powers so we don’t know if she’s projecting herself into a character’s head intentionally as a child or adult or if these are real world scenes of her before she died years and years ago.

I hope I’m making sense, I just woke up. :3
