What other industries do you think are overdue for serious innovation?

Industries that are still massively underserved by technology in India

Everyone talks about fintech, edtech and AI.

But some of India's largest industries still operate through spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups and manual processes.

Hospitality is one example I've been exploring recently.

Vendor discovery, procurement and supplier management can still be surprisingly fragmented.

Would love to hear examples from people working in different sectors

Why is hospitality procurement still so fragmented in India?

I've been spending a lot of time understanding how hotels, restaurants, cafés and caterers source products and services.

One thing surprised me:

Despite being such a massive industry, a huge amount of vendor discovery still happens through WhatsApp groups, referrals, trade fairs and word of mouth.

If you're looking for a new supplier, you often have to ask around, attend events or depend on existing contacts.

For hospitality professionals here:

• How do you currently find vendors?
• What part of the process frustrates you the most?
• If you could change one thing about procurement in India, what would it be?

Curious to hear real experiences."
