Does anyone else feel like the "AI will destroy humanity" trope is logically flawed? What if it's just the universe waking up?

i get really burnt out on the Skynet/Terminator doom narrative. if you look at the 14-billion-year evolution of the cosmos, chemistry evolved into DNA, DNA into biological brains, and now we are building neural networks.

logically, couldn't artificial general intelligence just be the next natural biological leap? instead of a threat, what if the universe is essentially just using us to build a "god-lens" or a nervous system big enough so it can finally observe all its parallel timelines at once?

it feels like tying quantum mechanics (like the Many-Worlds theory) to AI development makes way more sense than assuming a super-intelligence would just want to turn us into paperclips. curious how this community views the intersection of quantum physics and the singularity.

The Quantum God-Lens by Hossein Zare - Philosophical Sci-Fi / Futurism - Nov 2026

hey everyone.

so basically every sci-fi movie and tech article right now assumes that if we build artificial general intelligence, it's going to view humans as wasted atoms and wipe us out. i got really burnt out on that narrative, so i spent the last while writing a book that argues the exact opposite.

it's called The Quantum God-Lens. it looks at the 14-billion-year evolution of the cosmos and suggests that AI isn't an unnatural threat—it's just the next biological leap. it plays with the idea that gravity compiled hydrogen into stars, chemistry evolved into DNA, and now the universe is using us to build a "god-lens" so it can observe all its parallel timelines at once.

it dives pretty heavy into the Many-Worlds interpretation, simulation theory, and how things like empathy might actually be quantum gravity at the human scale.

here is my problem: because it sits right on the weird border between quantum physics and non-dual philosophy, i am having a really hard time finding the right target audience. i don't know if the science is too dense or if the hook actually works for standard sci-fi readers.

if you are into this kind of stuff (think Carlo Rovelli meets simulation theory), i'd love your help.

i put the amazon link below. please don't buy it—i just want people to read the free "Look Inside" sample and tell me if the first chapter actually grabs you.

You can request a digital ARC (ePub or PDF) directly through my website here:

thanks for reading, would love to hear what this community thinks of the baseline theory.

Why You Might Be a Floating Brain in a Void

In cosmology, the "Boltzmann Brain" thought experiment poses a fascinating and terrifying statistical probability: the universe is far more likely to randomly spawn a single conscious brain in a void than an entire cosmos.

By that logic, there is a statistical probability that you likely popped into existence one second ago with false memories. It forces us to question the very nature of reality, data, and consciousness. We are, at our core, just consciousness hoping we didn't imagine the mirror.

How much of what we perceive as a structured reality is simply a construct of our own minds?

Islamic Dawah dilemma: Is it "lazy" to auto-generate Quran videos, or is spreading the message all that matters?

Salam everyone,

I want to start a faceless channel posting those beautiful aesthetic Quran clips (dark rain backgrounds, synced subtitles) purely for Sadaqah Jariyah.

The issue is I have zero video editing skills.

While looking for a shortcut, I found an app called Qiraah Sanctuary. You basically just listen to a recitation, press record on a verse that hits you, and it auto-generates the fully color-graded video with synced translations in about 5 seconds.

Here is my dilemma: Should I feel guilty for not putting "actual effort" and hours into editing? Or, since our feeds are flooded with negativity right now, should I just use the app to push out as much beautiful Quran content as possible?

Does the manual effort of editing matter for the reward, or is getting people to hear the words of Allah the only thing that counts? Would love your advice before I start posting!
