Lake Phalen Appreciation Post
I love lake Phalen. Moved a couple blocks away a couple years ago and jogging around it is always something I look forward to after work every day. The park is always busy, but rarely overcrowded. There are always people fishing. There are always groups and families hosting get togethers. The lake itself if beautiful. I've seen loons, teals, kingfishers, ospreys, and all other sorts of birds you don't often see in cities. The native plants and trees are always healthy and always changing. Every visit brings something different. The pathways are well maintained. The festivals hosted there are always a blast.
Just wanted to show some gratitude to a great park that doesn't always get as much love as it should.
