ACCEPTED!!

I got accepted into a CA CC for my ADN starting Spring 2027! I was so nervous leading up to this and I wasn’t expecting to hear back so soon. I know how competitive it is so I really thought my chances were low. I had no healthcare experience but I have a bachelors degree in an unrelated field and got a 93.3 on my TEAS. I did well in all my prerequisites (except chemistry). I’m so excited to start this journey!

Want to explore different religions but unsure where to start?

I grew up in a very non religious household. Both my parents were raised Catholic and found it to do more harm than good in their opinion. I’m not necessarily looking to align myself with any one religion but more want to explore out of curiosity. I had a few friends that went to church growing up so I would sometimes tag along with them but I probably haven’t been in a church in 10+ years.

Can I just walk in and attend services without being part of the religion? I know there’s usually a time that people come together but I’m assuming every religion is different on what time they gather. I would love to hear what services are open to the public from religions that you know of. Im also curious, can I just walk in during the week and talk to someone there? I’m really in the dark about the etiquette surrounding religion. Not looking for advice on what religion to pursue, just want to know where to start! Thank you!
