Took me a minute to realize that the SP-1 is the same size as a MiniDV tape. Which means the MiniDV Jewel case is a perfect fit! The standard j-card style is great for desktop use, but the TDK shatter-resistant case is bulletproof for tossing in a backpack on the go. I was halfway through padding a standard cassette case when I figured this out. The standard cassette case still could be an option for SP-1 + a few short cables, though 🤷‍♂️

We're replacing our original aluminum windows on our 1973 home. We're modernizing while honoring the era of the home where we can, and I'm trying to figure out if we should go with casement style windows or put in modern sliders. What do you think? Maybe casement in the two bedroom windows (one half picture, one half casement), and sliders for the three daylight basement windows? Could do casement in the basement too, but they would swing out into the flower bed, which seems troublesome.
Bonus: I'll likely keep the sliding style on the lower half of the living room windows, pictured in the upper right, but I'm open for better suggestions there too.
