so i’m having a little bit of an issue here. this is a new school that will be opening. the children will be new as well. one side think it’s best that the tables be grouped together , by basically having 4 children to a table. then there’s another side that thinks it’s best the children have their own space early on to help them be more independent. i will be having another teacher that hasn’t been properly montessori trained and my manager feels the first option will help manage the classroom better. first week i’ll have 10 children and the following week the next ten will join. what’s your take on this?

Hey there universe nice to meet you. I’m a texas girl through and through lol. I’ve been told I have a country accent but I honestly don’t hear it at all. What do I look like? I’m African american , chubby/plus size, 5’7. I don’t have any children , not that I’m against it or anything. Lately I’ve taken interest in cross stitching. Forgot to mention I have a cute cat that is the ultimate attention seeker lol. If you’re a foodie and enjoy cooking , I would love to hear about what you like or recommend. Cooking is my second passion alongside singing. I’m a prek teacher 👩🏽‍🏫, so i’m by nature heavily into being creative and experimenting . My personality is on the introverted side , so if you’re a good conversationalists that’ll be great but not a requirement lol.

I have experience with being in a classroom where one teacher would do 30 minutes but I noticed the children had a hard time being quiet and able to focus. I was thinking 10-15 minutes? Also, would morning circle or afternoon circle work best? It will be a new school year with new children all around so I’m wanting to make sure it goes as smooth as possible; so the children can get acclimated. If it’s morning time it’s before the work period and if it’s after , according to how our schedule is set up , it’ll be before outside time.
