Another WaterRower rescue complete! This cherry model was hardly used! Only 63k?!? It wasn’t leaking, but I re-epoxied the tank for good measure, wiped off the cobwebs, and installed new set of RowStraps! Time to find it a new home!
I have a hobby that my wife hates... I have been buying old WaterRowers on FB Marketplace and reselling them. No, I don't make much/any money from "flipping" them, but I save them from the landfill! This one I bought for $50. It had a leaky tank and the dust and grime you would expect from sitting in a garage for who knows how long. It only has 707km of use! Barely broken in! I am really good at fixing the tanks now. And I rubbed it down with some Danish Oil and put on a new set of RowStraps. Now it's ready to change someone's life!
Now I need to get back to restoring the beautiful Cherry WaterRower that I bought last week. Just don't tell my wife!
