Ranbir Kapoor has no chemistry with any of his recent co-stars

His recent movies except animal, I feel there has been no chemistry with his co stars. I think brahmastra was widely criticized for this but it's the same thing in TJMM, shamshera even in ramayana from the assests released.

Why Are Item Songs So Normalized?

i honestly don't get why item songs are so normalized? I genuinely don't understand why we still treat them as a necessary part of Bollywood when so many of them add absolutely nothing to the story. Songs like Sheila Ki Jawani, Munni Badnaam Hui, Chikni Chameli and Fevicol Se don't just show women dancing, the lyrics themselves sexualize them. “Main toh tandoori murgi hoon yaar” compares a woman to food to be consumed, while “Husn ki teeli se beedi chillam jalaane aayi” turns her beauty into a sexual metaphor.

Then there is the way these songs are filmed. Women are often dressed in revealing clothes, placed in the centre of groups of men who stare at them, while the camera focuses on their bodies. This is where the male gaze becomes so obvious. She isn't just dancing, she is being presented as something to be looked at and desired.

I'm not saying women can't be sexy or enjoy dancing. The problem is when their body becomes the entire spectacle. Meanwhile, songs like Dola Re Dola, Pinga, Dholida actually serve the story and characters. So why do we still need songs that add nothing to the plot and exist mainly to make women something for the audience to look at?

what is an actual HOT take that will have you like this?

let me start with mine:

shraddha kapoor has the best PR among the actors

sara arjun is overhyped just because of the dhurandhar success

katrina kaif is a horrible actor and an above average dancer

vicky kaushal is not the "green flag" his pr claims

rashmika mandhanna is actually not as bad as people paint her to be

everyone is a performative feminist in bollywood and they just use it as a shield to save themselves from trolling

people are obsessed w ranlia's relationship in a weird way(deepveer also but not as much as before)

dhurandhar 2 was mid

the men in the industry can get away with anything because the audience is very misogynistic(look at our 3 khans)

alia-sidharth's chemistry is so underrated

they had such great chemistry in both soty and kapoor & sons. especially their kiss in soty was so perfect, i feel people are always talking about varia but rarely about these two.
