Just wondering as I'm sitting here stoned af doing my nails on my day-off. Seems silly since I'm only going to wear them for one or two days before going back to work. But I miss getting my nails done pre-Starbucks and yeah, Idk I feel a little more feminine since I got chunky sausage fingers lmao.

Hey fam, not a new SSV atp. To preface, we had some closers leave a month ago and got some green beans started 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty much nights only cuz our old closing SSV moved away around the same time too and they haven't been replaced.

My green beans are so fresh that they can't bar even remotely close to independent yet. I'm getting pressure from my SM to get them ramped up quickly but unfortunately I can't rush them when drinks are hugely customized and they haven't even quite gotten down the basics including sequencing. It's summer and we've gotten busier, so I have to kick them off the bar when we get slammed. I run a 3 person close, rarely have a mid - true mid - or even a pre-closer. The latest I may have someone is 5 pm, if I'm even that lucky that day.

I have two of them closing with me in a couple days and I'm on the verge of crashing out. I'm doing the work of multiple baristas while trying to train them and do my own tasks. I'm kind of at a loss on how I'm supposed to run the floor, train and get out on time with the greenest of beans.

I'm about to hit my 1 year and from what I've been told by my SM, we haven't been this strapped at my store in like 3 years. We're a cafe only store but get a lot of foot traffic.

Anyone got some advice for me? I'm so fucking tired. 🥲

Bro, it's getting hot. Our AC JUST got fixed but it's still warm in the cafe with all the equipmemt emitting heat.

What do you all wear for warmer weather? I mostly wear jeans and tees, but wanna get some dresses and/or skirts.
