ib student admission in kinnaird

hi!! im an ib student (international baccalaureate), thats done myp and ibdp. so to apply to kinnaird i'd need equivalence certificates obviously, right? im literally so new to applying to unis and it all seems so confusing to me :( idk what documents i need exactly, and how to fill in the academic history section of the application to ensure i have everything required. like yes equivalence certificate is secured, but what about everything else?

kinnaird is probably where i'll end up. someone please tell me what it’s actually like 😭

so i’m in a bit of a weird situation and would really appreciate some honest advice from current kinnaird students or even recent graduates

kinnaird wasn’t my first choice for a long time, but due to family circumstances and restrictions, it's basically my only realistic option right now because i need an all-girls university for my undergrad.

over the past few months, i actually started accepting the idea of going there and even getting excited about it. but now my parents are having second thoughts because they’re worried i’ll start bunking classes, going out too much, making the wrong friends, etc (which i've never even done). the thing is, there really isn’t another option for me, so i’m trying to figure out whether kinnaird is genuinely a good place and whether i should keep pushing for it because i dont know what else to do

a few questions:

  • what’s the social environment like? are people generally friendly, and is it easy to make friends?
  • do students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and did you feel like you fit in?
  • how are the campus, facilities, and overall student experience?
  • are students even allowed to leave campus during free periods, and how strict is attendance?
  • do you feel safe on campus?
  • do people mainly speak urdu, english, or a mix of both? i mostly speak english and my urdu isn’t great, so i’m a little worried about fitting in
  • also, when do applications open for undergrad? whats the process like?

i'm not looking for a perfect university because i know every place has its problems. i just want an honest picture of what student life is actually like and whether people generally enjoy their time there.

i'd really appreciate any experiences, positive or negative. thank youu ❤️
