Anybody want to camp this holiday weekend?
Hey...
short notice, but if anyone is looking for 1 - 3 nights to camp, I might cancel my campsite reservation later tonight...maybe between 6 - 8 pm.
Thing have come up personally, and I probably can't go to Yosemite anymore, and a friend was interested in going instead, but now he might not, so I'd rather another Redditor be able to use the campsite.
Last year, someone else on here got it, so maybe it'll work again this time.
It's at my favorite campground in the Valley, Lower Pines, from Friday, May 22 until Monday, May 25.
Max 6 people and 2 parking spaces.
Others use bots/scripts to notify them when a campsite becomes available on Recreation.gov -- so I can't promise it'll be available to you...but I'll check back later today, and if anyone is interested, we can coordinate a time between 6 pm - 8 pm.
FYI - last year, a few Redditors were interested, so if it happens again that multiple people want it, I'm sorry, but I have no control over who ultimately books it once it's canceled & released back onto Recreation.gov

Hi all.
I'm sincerely sorry. My friend just messaged me and said he can go, so it's now his campsite reservation.
This honestly was not my intention to get anyone's hopes up.
I told him about this reddit post, and will check with him if he's willing to share the campsite with any of you.
