I'm Chinese guy and I do watch some C-dramas. Lately Pursuit of Jade (逐玉) is blowing up overseas and it got me thinking.

In China, C-dramas are basically a girls' thing. Most guys barely touch them (especially ancient romance, xianxia, super sweet stuff). The whole market is super female-oriented.

So I wanna ask y'all overseas:

Is it mostly girls watching? Like what's the actual gender ratio?

do you think cdramas are female oriented?
