I'm currently in my second year of a PA program and just found out that l'll have my initial meeting with my VR&E counselor next week. I'm trying to figure out the best way to approach that first meeting since I'm already enrolled in my program.

For those who were already in school when applying for VR&E, did you focus on the fact that you were already enrolled, or did you primarily explain your SEH/employment handicap, why your service-connected limitations made your previous career/degree no longer suitable, and why your current program is necessary to pursue suitable employment?

I previously worked in business, but because of my employment handicaps, I could no longer pursue a suitable career using my previous degree. I'm wondering how I should explain that transition while also being upfront that im already in PA school.

Basically, how should I frame my situation to the counselor when I'm already pursuing the career path I'm hoping VR&E will approve?

Just curious if anyone has been through that process. Not looking for specifics but just wondering how it went for you and what questions were asked. I’m not getting subpoenaed. I’m a student but I’m just wondering lol.

I was wondering if anyone could help point me in the right direction on how to build a tee time bot for ForeUpSoftware. The past few days I’ve been learning how to use selenium, but now I’m hearing that it’s too slow to use. I’m not really sure where to start with this. Any help would be really appreciated. I work in the medical field and have almost zero coding experience lol.

For those of you taking the boards this fall, what are your study plans? Is anyone utilizing prep courses? Reading Gravelee cover to cover?

Trying to get some study ideas to help be as prepared as possible.

What is the typical timeline for VR&E benefits in NY? I applied for VR&E at the end of March and I still haven’t heard anything from anyone. Is there an email I can reach out to? Or a number? Is this normal?
