They sent me a regular mail through Canada post and wondering how long will it take until I receive it, I’m in the GTA.
Canada post website shows that it takes 4 business days in the same province and now it’s past the 5th day :(
When i entered Canada i wasn’t required to write my full middle name so i didn’t write all of it, so when i got my work permit and photo id here they don’t not show my full legal name as on my passport. So i sent my passport copy and immigration document that doesn’t reflect my full middle name and i wrote a letter of explanation on why there’s a discrepancy as on the check list file it says at least one of your documents should show your full name before you come to Canada and that’s why i added my passport copy . Now they have just called me to tell me they have returned my application for name discrepancy???? When i explained the situation on the phone they weren’t helpful at all and told me to follow the detailed instructions that will be sent back to me with my application. I thought about filling my application with the same name as on my immigration documents and not send my passport copy but the problem is that all of my educational documents that need to be verified here have my full legal name on them as on my passport copy. Please let me know what should i do, i feel so depressed 💔

Just received a missed call today with no voice message, so i called them back Funny thing they questioned my identity because my deadname is masc and my voice is fem ?? The call center employee asked me in surprise you’r name is …. They kept asking me extra questions to confirm my identity ? It really felt frustrating that the people i asked for a name change they’re the part of the system that do such acts because of my deadname And i was told my application has been returned with an explanation letter !!
Anyone has an idea of when will get my application back through mail after they return it?
They mentioned that they need a birth certificate and i’m a refugee and didn’t bring my birth certificate, does this mean i can’t change my name?
I noticed i will need to sign a document in the presence of a commissioner, and i have no idea where could i find such person
And in the payment form it says credit card, does this mean my debit won’t work ?
