Eyes can’t focus

My vision has been very blurry - mostly noticeable when I try to read. I’m having a hard time figuring out if it’s a true relapse, a relapse coming, or just pseudo flares.

I’m 13wks pregnant - so still in first trimester when relapses are still possible. I know still possible in 2nd & 3rd but the chance typically goes down significantly, so I hear.

I’m trying to figure out if I ride it out or if I truly need to alert this to my neuro. I should note that this isn’t this first day either with vision out of focus - it’s been pretty consistent but today is very noticeably different. Yes I have been stressed, not sleeping as much, not hydrating as well as I should and not eating as well I should (pregnancy 🫠) — which makes it easier for me to write off as I’ve pissed off my symptoms and it’s on me, no need to panic myself, family & doctor about a relapse…

Could really use some advice 🙏

Update** I left a VM w/ my neuro so he is informed. No I don’t have an eye doctor but thanks to yalls advice, I’m now looking into it. Also the eye exercises is much appreciated advice - didn’t really know that was even something. I appreciate all of you 🙏

Dear women who have been pregnant…

Did you experience “next level” constipation during pregnancy — especially during first trimester around 6-7 wks?

I am fairly newly diagnosed (March 2025) and while this isn’t my first pregnancy, it’s my first one knowing I have RRMS. I am curious if the first trimester constipation is this intense because my MS was is affecting it? I do have spinal lesions.

I’m currently sitting in ER (full of pain and embarrassment) after 24hrs and 2 suppositories later with zero success.

My goodness…

If you’re reading this, how are you dealing?!

I was diagnosed last year with RRMS. Lesions in brain, spine, and c spine. I’m currently 1yr relapse free and i’ve been unmedicated for the past 6mths. Luckily, no major mobility issues, but wtf – these other symptoms are just so incredibly difficult! I can deal with the numbness, the weird foot stuff, the incontinence, the bouncing eyes, the light sensitivity, the joint pain, the muscle tension, but the brain shit… the overwhelm, the anxiety, the short fuse, the exhaustion, etc etc it’s all making it really quite hard to do this dream “job” of raising my daughter.

She is 2 1/2 so I assume maybe I’m in the thick of (she turns three at the end of July). I have no “village”, no daycare, no childcare, none of that but we did just hire a household manager 2wks ago, but even her presence and just simply being in my home is causing my brain to overwhelm so hard that it suddenly feels like a brain freeze going off in my brain. No pressure, just an intense amount of Cold. And if she asks me any questions, I’m done. I’m exhausted. I’m truly fucking dragged exhausted. So we hired this person to help - to help relieve my cognitive load, but my brain gets so overwhelmed just by her presence and a few questions. I also have ADHD so that doesn’t help and it’s probably not helping with this ramble of a post but ultimately, I’m just struggling. Hoping I can find someone who can relate 🤷‍♀️
