Pytanie do tych, którzy mają rodziców lekarzy, a nie poszli na lekarski

Na co poszliście? Czy rodzice zachęcali was do zostania lekarzem? Jeżeli wam to odradzali, to dlaczego? Istnieje stereotyp, że dzieci lekarzy przeważnie też zostają lekarzami. Ja nigdy nie spotkałam się z takim przypadkiem

Benfothiamine supplementation

I started taking it at the end of March this year. Benfothiamine (I'm using an OTC drug from pharmacy) helped me get rid of neuropathy in my limbs and terrible, bothersome neuralgia. These two ailments were ruining my life. There was a significant improvement after just a few days and I realized that either I had an extremely high deficiency or this drug is incredibly strong. The dose is 50 mg per day, so x50 more than RDA, but pretty low compared to doses in most of supplements. I wonder how long it can be taken. I haven't found any information about a possible overdose anywhere, I don't think it has ever happened to anyone. If it's really safe to take it permanently, then I have just discovered miracle drug, because it has tons of benefits

I hate salty foods (except cheese, but even in this case I prefer those with lower salt content). Salting homemade dishes ruins them for me. I know my sodium intake is often below minimum recommended by most of health organisations. My diet consists mostly of milk, yoghurt, cheese, fruit, some veggies and lean fish, sometimes red meat and starches. I'm not sure if I should push myself to eat more salt, even though I feel disgusted by it or ignore it. Has anyone ever had problems with too low sodium intake? Most people like salt, I know, but I'm not among them
