Like most of you here, this game has been with me a long time. Moving to a new home - new office. I want to have a tasteful hint of UO in my spot. I’m thinking I’ll go subtle. Or I’ll do the opposite and print the cover art on an entire wall.

Anyway, looking for ideas / pics of real life deco / tribute things my fellow Sosarians have done. Or want to do.

Edit: I need to be able to stay married with this idea.

There has to be someone out there who can answer this.

A lot of us GM’d skills on boats by saying “forward one” eight times over and over. How/why was this ever a thing? Was it an intentional easter egg that Raph and his wife left in? Was it some glorious accidental side effect of the devs’ code?

And do modern shards still have this? I’ve never actually tried. But if the old 8x8 thing is that ancient and baked in, maybe some version of it still exists on every shard?
