[WIP] An online quote paired with a book frame.

Funny Facebook quote I liked paired with a frame from the book "Feminist Cross-stitch"

I made a batch of rocket stove caramel corn. Man that stove cooks twice as fast as the range at home. I have to use cast iron or I burn stuff. The popcorn had to be held 6 inches above the flame.

Usually it take close to 12 minutes to brown caramel but on the rocket stove it was less than 6! It is hard holding the popcorn high enough not to burn but I've learned after trial and error. Last time I made popcorn I used the dutch-oven to spread out the heat better.

serendipity "I love it when a plan comes together"

I found this round light at a bin return store and it fits perfectly on the bottom of my kerosene lantern. Just in time when it's getting two warm to use heat producing flame. It has a remote 3 light color settings and a motion detecting setting. Hmm I should have cleaned the globe before taking the picture.

I cut the oak with a double bit axe. I split it with wedges and flattened the other side with a fro. I bored the holes with the settlers wrench trimmed the honey locust with the sportsman's pall and hatchet fine shaped with the Mora chisel knife. I may need to re-bore the holes to get better angles.
