Having trouble torque the UDH to spec

Having trouble torque the UDH to spec

This bolt (I think it's called UDH as told by another redditor) said 25NM on it. I used a torque wrench with range 2NM-26NM and tried to torque to spec, but for some reason it tops at 15NM and keeps spinning without becoming tighter (I found out by lowering the torque setting gradually on the torque wrench to find out the click happens at 15NM).

I don't think I stripped any threads as I was being pretty gentle during the process. But at this point I also feel a bit worried why it won't become tighter any more. Any idea what I should do? The bike seems to ride fine.

Anyone has tried riding to Fort Lee for food? Where to park the bike?

I've rode across GWB a few times to Fort Lee. As much as I'd love to have a sit down lunch or dinner, I never did because not sure where to store the bike safely. I knew Strictly Bicycle but it doesn't look like a place you can park and leave for a couple hours. Wonder anyone has had experience how to solve this issue?

Is there something wrong with real axle for my Al5 Gen4? How do I remove it?

I bought a used 2025 model Al5 Gen4 few weeks back. Today I was trying to remove the rear thru axle and do some cleanup and lubrication but found myself puzzled what to do.

Basically, all instructions I read said use a hex key to remove from non-drive side. But my non drive side is just a round hole without hex head. There's a hex head on the drive side, I can plug in a hex key and turn maybe 1/4 turn each direction then it becomes very tight, I didn't force through in fear of breaking something.

Also, on the non-drive side, there were some scratches on the surrounding hole, like someone was trying to pry something. Can I get help about:

  1. Did the previous owner did something bad to the bike?
  2. How do I remove the rear axle with a hex key?

thanks,

Just came back from outside this felt like pre-pandemic New York

Vibrant, energetic, full of hope, bars with plenty people after midnight, people walking on sidewalks chatting happily, all in a warm summer night. I am tired of the dull and weird vibe surrounding the city after the Covid. I sure hope many years later, people will say that night when kincks won the championship, that was the beginning of the great comeback.
