Hey everyone. I want to earn money for myself and my parents. They just want me to study but when I hear about their financial conversations I just don't want to be so useless. And I have seen many students my age are actually earning online. I am about to start college next month. I am a B.Sc Nursing student. I know this degree won't let me have any time to myself, let alone some time for extra work. But I thought to ask here for some specific online work which I could do according to my time. I can design posters, flyers from canva. I can edit short reels for your insta account (halal version, no music).

And I can make carousels too and write captions for your posts.

It doesn't have to be much money since I won't be able to free up that much time for work.

So any kashmiri insta pages be it food vloggers, travel vloggers or informational channels too, if you can refer me to some of em....

Though I also think that I should just do my degree and I will eventually earn after 4 yrs otherwise doing side hustles during college might ruin my academic scores and maybe I won't crack norcet because of that...so if you would tell me to quit thinking about earning and focus on studies.. I get you 😅 It's just I really want to be financially independent early on..but on the other hand managing that with my college studies esp. Nursing degree will be hectic to balance.. even the students i know who are doing nursing don't have time for anything after college hours.

I guess I also won't be able to use my canva and other skills after completing nursing because of the already existing hospital shifts.. so maybe being able to use canva was pretty useless for my career path lol

Assalamu alaikum.

So I took admission in a pvt. college of srinagar for Bsc Nursing. My first sem will start around starting september. So if anyone is here doing bsc nursing I would like you to recommend me some good books to buy for my courses. I have searched a lot online but can't decide which one is better. Please mention the book title with author's name and if possible the reason why it is preferable. Thank you. :)

I am currently in the phase where I have to choose between 2 different career paths. I got Bsc biotechnology in SP college srinagar and I have attended the college for 3 days now. And today the selection list for Bsc Nursing came out in which I got Kidney College Zakura, sgr. So I need your opinions based on your experience which will be a better path for my future.

What I have in my mind: (from overthinking, listening to others and asking gemini)

1. Bsc nursing has more job security in kashmir. While as there are not many biotech industries in kashmir so for that I have to go to hyderabad bangalore or abroad. I don't think my parents will send me out of kashmir.

2. I really want to be financially independent at a young age. And if I do nursing I can earn after doing bsc but not much. Still if I can crack govt. exam, that will give me a high paying job. Even nursing has demands in abroad as well like Saudi. While as biotechnology needs MSc/PHD because only bsc won't benefit. But it has benefits in the long run. Though maybe I would only get some junior research assistant at skaust here in kashmir out of that degree.

3. My father thinks biotechnology is a better course to study. I know that but I am unsure of my future with it. I don't think I am meant for research or lab related careers. But I don't know much since I am new to all this.

4. Nursing will give me a kind of feeling that doctors get like hospitals, patients, white coat. (Since I couldn't crack neet so maybe that regret is showing up here)
