M40 - How did your style evolve once you embraced a more minimalist approach?

Hey all. I’m a 40‑year‑old Swede who spent most of my life dressing for convenience rather than intention. Over the last few years, though, I’ve found myself gravitating toward a much more minimalist, Scandinavian way of dressing — fewer pieces, better materials, calmer colors, and silhouettes that don’t try too hard.

What surprised me is how much lighter it feels to get dressed when your wardrobe is simple but well‑chosen.

It’s not about looking “fashionable” — more about feeling put‑together without noise or clutter.

I’m curious how others here approached this.
If you’ve moved toward a more minimalist or Scandi‑inspired wardrobe, what were the changes that made the biggest difference for you?
Did it happen gradually, or was there a moment where it just clicked?

Would love to hear your experiences.

M40 - Anyone else feel like Warzone got faster, or did I just get older?

I’m a 40‑year‑old Swede who’s been playing shooters forever, and lately I’ve noticed something: Warzone feels like it’s running at 1.5x speed compared to my brain.

I still love the game, but man… sometimes it feels like everyone else is cracked out of their minds while I’m over here trying to plate, breathe, and figure out where the footsteps are coming from. Some players barely touch the ground.

Anyone else in the “I can still win fights, but only if I out‑think people because my reflexes retired in 2019” club?

Curious how other older players adapt — smarter rotations, slower playstyle, certain weapons, audio tricks, whatever works.

40M – How do you all handle gaming when your free time keeps shrinking?

Hey all. I’m a 40yo Swede with two kids and a full-time job, and I’ve noticed my gaming habits have changed a lot the last few years. My window is usually around 21:00 once everything settles down, and I’m curious how others in the same age range handle it.

Do you still play competitive stuff, or have you shifted toward slower games? I still enjoy Warzone, but I don’t have the same energy for long sessions DOTA2 anymore. I’ve also found myself caring more about atmosphere, sound design, and games that don’t demand constant attention.

Would be interesting to hear how others balance life, sleep, work, and gaming in 2026.
