dealing with hurt feelings.

Well, I feel like this belongs in this sub tbh, because I imagine it's a pretty big part of each of our comp experience.

I just played a game of tracer, and I wasn't even playing that badly I don't think. Either way, my teammates told me to swap, and started laughing at me for how badly I was playing. It hurt my feelings. Normally, I would dismiss it, but I'm tired of doing that.

I'm hoping someone has some insight on how to look at it. I don't like feeling like I'm the only one dealing with it.

Edit: Thanks for all the support guys, it's great seeing all of your replies. I think I'm just gonna mute when people start insulting, and leave chat on. I don't wanna miss out on all the great interactions I can have avoiding the worst of them. Maybe later I'll decide that there's too much of it to be worth it, and I'll just keep it off, but that's the plan for now. Good luck in your games!
