Waiting for my Linea Mini <> Tamper quest rabbit hole!

Hey guys, I'm looking for a recommendation on tampers. I should be getting my Linear Mini soon, and I am excited to get a nice tamper for it. I've been eyeing several different ones, like the Pullman BigStep, the Weber really nice tamper, and the Force tamper, but I read some conflicting things related to some of them lifting the puck if they are too tight.

I wanted to hear from those that have owned one of these tampers or another tamper that's very nice to use that I haven't considered, just to gather thoughts.

Honestly, I'm just looking to enjoy my routine every morning. I love espresso. I've been drinking espressos for the past 20 years, and finally, I'm very close to having my endgame machine at home. I just want to hear from those that have already gotten their nice tampers. Hear, how are you enjoying them? Is the tamping consistent? Is it unseating the puck, or do they work really, really well? I'll probably be using the stock baskets and not changing them, so it'll probably be the 17 g basket and the 21 g basket.

Pico or Mini-G? Final decision to make :)

Hi everybody! Thank you in advance for helping me out with this. To the folks that have way more experience and have owned these machines before. I am planning to buy a LaMarzocco Linea Mini, and I am interested in having a Grind by Weight grinder. Essentially, the two options that I am seeing right now are the Pico with the acaia scale and Mini G.

I would love to hear from folks that have had both, or their experience with whichever one they have and why they prefer it.

To give additional context, I like dark roasts. Traditional Italian espresso is a lot of fun for me. I do like cappuccinos, macchiatos, and from time to time, an an occasional flat white. My partner likes cappuccinos mostly. I am more of 1-2 shots-of-espresso throughout the day.

I want to make the process very simple for my partner. I do enjoy doing things manually, and I enjoy the whole process of making my espresso in the morning. I also want to balance it with having something that is not overly complicated for her so that she can make her coffee in case I'm not around in the morning.

I appreciate the help.
