Just an update video on how my colony are doing. A good egg pile!

Small update on my Lasius niger colony. Larvae now going to cocoons now that over Wintered, but no egg laying yet from the Queen, which is a little concerning. Still, it looks a healthy colony, with plenty of larvae. 18oc in Ireland. They are slow to get going this year, this Queen is 3 and struggled to get her first workers for nearly 2 years. She is a stubborn one! Once or twice I was calling it quits, but she pulled through. Just need a new batch of eggs please?!
