USPS tracking hasn’t updated since “Departed Post Office” — Mercari suddenly says “USPS awaits item”?
My USPS tracking has been stuck since Aug 15, when it showed “Departed Post Office” in Waukesha, WI. But today I noticed that Mercari suddenly added a new update dated Aug 18 saying “PRE-SHIPMENT INFO SENT USPS, AWAITS ITEM” in Waukesha. The package was already picked up and marked as departed on Aug 15, so why would it say USPS is still awaiting the item? Has anyone experienced this before? Is this just a tracking/scanning issue, or could the package actually be lost?
