My friend recently received a cheating violation in their email from a class that they took last fall. I have taken a lot of classes requiring Honorlock and it makes me paranoid of receiving a violation way down the road when I least expect it. Do all professors review all of the footage months later or something? How do people get caught much later?
I have a math test tonight and I really suck at math and I need to pass to keep going in school and all that, I didn’t quite understand the assignments I tried my best, but I need to to pass this test to at least get a D in the class and I was wondering what’s the best way to cheat on a honor lock, i tried to hide my phone my Texas instrument Calculator sleeve but it flagged it but didn’t get in trouble for it by the professor,
So I don’t know if I should do that again and make sure that my phone can’t be seen at any angles or what

I took a math exam recently with honorlock and failed it with a F I really don’t want to take the exam again because I’m pretty sure I will just fail again.
I want to cheat but I’m not sure how, the course uses honor lock and my exam does allow a paper to solve problems and a paper with notes but my questions is if I solve the problems won’t they give me a zero since I’ll be looking away from my screen. Other than that I had both my WiFi and Bluetooth turned completely off so they wouldn’t detect it.
If anybody can give me tips it would be much appreciated, and if you have questions I would love to answer them.
I haven’t seen a single person on this subreddit share their experience of getting caught when cheating on a Honorlock proctored exam. It makes me wonder if most of the extension is essentially just fear mongering. Does using a secondary device out of the camera frame work? Has anyone had any success with that?
Please let me know your experiences.
one of my classes is using honorlock for exams. But is bypassing this as easy as just making sure the camera is pointed right at your head, (and maybe your shoulders a little bit to make it not as sus). and then just taking pics of the questions wiht ur phone and plugging them into a AI search engine? and maybe putting down a cloth or pad so when you set your phone down it doesn't make a sound. This seems really easy to do but have never heard anyone talk about this. Would this work? please lmk!!! thanks
