Udemy Summer Sale has started but Desktop UI Issue still a problem

I noticed that Udemy’s Summer Sale started on the 18th. However, the main problem still remains: on the desktop version, the subscription option appears above the individual course purchase option.

Because of this, many users may not even notice the individual purchase option shown below. They might assume that subscription is the only available way to access the course and leave without purchasing.

I think the individual purchase option should be made more visible or placed higher on the page so users can clearly see both choices.

Is Udemy Slowly Moving Away From Small Instructors? My Thoughts After the Merger

As we know, the merger has now been completed, and Udemy has also been delisted from NASDAQ.

After reading the CEO’s message, I got the impression that we may have around 7–10 months left before the platform changes dramatically.

By “we,” I mean the smaller instructors. The top instructors will probably remain relevant and continue doing well, but I feel like smaller creators could struggle much more after the transition.

The focus now seems to be shifting heavily toward enterprise, AI-driven learning, and large-scale professional content rather than independent instructors.
Post your courses on YouTube as well. Carve out shorter videos from your longer courses and upload them independently.

Trust me, YouTube can become a very good backup. If it clicks, it can even become better than Udemy.

That said, I’m still not losing hope in Udemy though.
