I heard you can run almost any weapon and you'd still do decent damage. However, for me that may not be the case because I'm playing in an ED server.

I run SKS with 2 Setups (Crit setup / Weakspot Setup). And the damage is really good. However I tried changing to M4 Silent Anabasis Full elemental and yes, it doesn't really work as well.

I thought Maybe crit builds are superior overall so I'm considering trying something like the Bounce Bow or Primal Rage, I mainly do dream zones, Silos and run after the rift walker.

What are your thoughts about this, are crit builds really superior ? and which guns would be as strong in ED just like the SKS ?

I'm considering moving my base in a Hard polluted zone and I thought I'd make sure of how things work first since it's my first time doing this.

1- I've heard nowadays it's more practical to live in polluted zones. it only costs 4,800 stardust ore per day regardless of your base size (Hard zone), and now you can also extend the protection for 3 days max. meaning you don't have to maintain it daily.

2- I need to have lots of stardust ore when I move my base or else it will ask for other things like stardust ingots...etc. for fortification. other than that it will always ask for the 4,800 ores regardless of size or any add-ons...etc.

I'm considering this because it looks much more efficient to produce acid using polluted water than using oil. because I'd have to manually mine lots of stardust ore for the furnaces.

I'd live on a normal zone for less cost but i'm in ED so no normal zones here.
