I had a post last week about my offer being rescind from a school. the principal has still not released me on New Teacher Finder and it has been radio silent from him. I have a ticket on NYC Teach that still has not been answered after week. anyone have any ideas on what I can do? I am not in the union yet so idk if they’d help me
i received and accepted an offer from a DOE school in june, signed an early commitment letter and everything. now they are rescinding the offer due to budget cuts. i am honestly panicking as i was expecting a $3k bonus stipend, and now i wont even have a job at all. i am just looking for some words of encouragement or advice to get me through the next few weeks.

I will hopefully be a first year teacher in the fall. Are Open Teacher Interviews normal or is this a red flag?
Can't decide on a location for this summer. I am from the east coast and have never been West. Been hearing that the fire season will be bad out there. Should I still plan to go to Olympic for end of July or should I stay on the safe side and go elsewhere?
