don't update maps to 2026.11 on your 6s pro devices; it will break the HR sensor

my wife's and my daughter's 6s pro watches now don't work because of new maps.

anyone knows a way to revert back older maps?

i've updated a 6 pro, a quatix 7 pro and a 7s pro solar - these were not affected by new maps,

except the 7s pro solar, which still shows on the watch that an update is available: reported here as well: https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/fenix-7-series/438676/garmin-topo-active-maps-2026-11-still-says-update-available/

I am reading in my living room near the window and it’s bothering. I have an oasis and a basic 11 and they are much better. I have to put the backlight to maximum to improve the clarity, but then it’s too bright.
