Finally took delivery of the Tata Punch EV Smart+ 40 after almost 3 months of waiting 😅⚡
The waiting period and delivery delays were honestly frustrating at times, but the final delivery experience itself was smooth and transparent from the showroom side. During dealer PDI they noticed a very minor dent-like imperfection on one panel — something that could only really be felt by touch and seen only under certain sunlight angles — and they informed it openly before delivery instead of hiding it, which was appreciated.
Coming from ICE cars, the biggest surprise so far is the instant torque and effortless pull this car has for its size. This is the first EV being driven regularly, and the way it instantly moves off the line feels completely different from internal combustion cars. For daily long-distance travelling and work usage, the driving comfort already feels like a huge upgrade.
Still learning regen braking and EV driving habits, but first impressions are honestly very positive ❤️🚗⚡
