[DEV] I made yet another clone of that puzzle game. Mine is the best, but also has the fewest downloads :)

Hi everyone, I’ve made my own version of that game that has 1,000 clones – I’ve left the link below. Mine turned out to be the best :) but I reckon it’s also the one with the fewest downloads :))
If you want to boost my player count from 50 to 51, here is the link:

How do you guys actually get your first 100 organic players? Struggling with visibility as a solo dev.

I've recently released my first project—a simple physics-based puzzle game. It’s a solo project, completely ad-free, and I built it mostly to learn the end-to-end publishing process.

I’ve learned a lot from the launch, but now I’m hitting the wall that every solo dev hits: getting actual people to play it.

I’ve tried posting in a few places, got some harsh (but fair) feedback, and used it to revamp the core mechanics. But even with the improvements, the game is sitting in the void.

For those who have released their own games:

What’s the most effective way you've found to get that initial traction without a marketing budget?

How do you handle the "this concept is already saturated" feedback when you're just starting out?

Should I keep iterating on this one, or is it better to move to a fresh concept once I've learned the basics?

Would love to hear your honest take.

I built a puzzle game where blocks turn into falling sand as a solo dev. I really need some honest/brutal feedback on the physics!

Hey r/playmygame, I'm a solo developer and I recently launched my passion project called Tunaris on Android. To clear the board, you have to match continuous colors from edge to edge, which can trigger some really satisfying chain reactions.

Since it's brand new, I have almost no players right now and would love to get some honest, brutal feedback on how the sand physics feel and if the controls are smooth enough.

Game Title: Tunaris

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tunaris.game

Platform: Android

Description: Tunaris is a casual puzzle game that blends classic tetromino shapes with realistic falling sand physics. When blocks land, they dissolve into sand particles and flow into open spaces. Players must align continuous colors from one edge of the screen to the other to clear the sand and prevent the board from filling up. The game features a deep chain-combo system, minimalist dark mode aesthetics, full offline support, and zero data tracking. It is built to offer a zen-like, satisfying puzzle experience for casual gaming sessions.
