Looking for a true A6 leather ring binder (not Personal size)

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a true A6 / ISO A6 leather ring binder — something made for actual 105 × 148 mm A6 paper, not Personal size (95 × 170 mm), which I know is sometimes also called “A6.”

One of the main reasons I want true A6 is that I can simply cut standard A4 paper down into four A6 sheets. It would make it really easy to use whatever paper I like instead of having to buy specific Personal-size inserts.

Ideally, I’d love something slim and easy to carry around, preferably in leather.

Does anyone know of any brands that make a proper true A6 leather ring binder?

Hi everyone, quick question about discbound notebooks.

I’ve noticed that when I remove and reinsert pages a few times — or even just flip through them a lot — the mushroom holes start to wear out pretty quickly.

For context, I previously bought a discbound notebook from AliExpress. The paper felt relatively thin (around 80gsm), and after a bit of use, some pages started to loosen or tear slightly around the holes.

So now I’m wondering:

Is this normal for discbound systems in general?

Or could it be due to lower quality paper / punching (e.g. thinner paper or shallow mushroom cuts)?

Would love to hear your experience — especially from people using higher-quality brands or thicker paper.

Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,

Just curious — do you usually buy separate refills for your discbound notebooks, or mostly stick to the original ones that come with it?

If you do buy refills separately, where do you usually get them from?

Also wondering — which sizes tend to have the most options? I feel like some sizes are way easier to find than others.
