reddit.com[FIX] Pixel 10 IMS - VoLTE broken on Android 17
I finally managed to get IMS registration working on my Pixel 10 running Android 17, so posting this in case anyone else is hitting the same issue.
I was using TurboIMS from the ryfineZ/carrier-ims-for-pixel project through Shizuku. The original build was failing with:
No interface method stopDelegateShellPermissionIdentity()V in class Landroid/app/IActivityManager
So IMS would simply fail to register.
I found PR #61 in the repo, which specifically addresses the Android 17 compatibility issue:
https://github.com/ryfineZ/carrier-ims-for-pixel/pull/61
The PR includes fixes for:
- The missing
stopDelegateShellPermissionIdentity()method on Android 17 - IMS APN handling
- Automatically correcting IMS APN configuration
What I did
I cloned the repo and checked out PR #61:
git fetch origin pull/61/head:pr61
git checkout pr61
The project requires Java 21, so I installed JDK 21 and built the debug APK.
After installing the newly built APK and running it through Shizuku, IMS registered successfully.
Result on my Pixel 10
Before the fix:
IMS: Not Registered
VoLTE: Unavailable
After building PR #61:
IMS Registration: Registered
VoLTE: Available
Video Calling: Available
UT Interface: Available
VoNR: Unavailable
VoWiFi: Unavailable
Cross SIM: Unavailable
So at least for my device/setup, the Android 17 IMS registration issue is fixed.
I'm using this in the UAE, so carrier-specific features such as VoNR/VoWiFi may obviously vary.
If you're getting the same stopDelegateShellPermissionIdentity() error on Android 17, PR #61 is worth trying.
Huge thanks to the contributors who worked on the fix.
MEA.sa VPS, any firsthand experience?
Does anyone here have experience with MEA.sa VPS?
They’re quite cheap, and their VPS servers appear to be hosted in KSA, which is exactly what I’m looking for.
The order page shows servers as available/ready for allocation, but I opened a ticket to confirm actual availability and haven’t received a response yet. Live chat is also unresponsive.
Would appreciate any firsthand experience.
Saudi Arabia VPS Recommendations for Tailscale/WireGuard
Looking for a Saudi Arabia VPS (preferably Riyadh) to run Tailscale/WireGuard as an exit node.
Requirements: Saudi IP, good local latency, root access (Ubuntu/Linux), reliable uptime, decent support, and affordable pricing.
The workload is very light, so 1 vCPU and 1-2 GB RAM is more than enough.
Any recommendations based on real world experience with network quality, reliability, and support?
[Facebook Marketplace] Is this AirPods Pro 2 charging case genuine?
I'm looking to buy a replacement charging case for my AirPods Pro 2, and a seller on Facebook Marketplace sent me these photos.
Can anyone tell if this case looks genuine or fake? I only have this photo at the moment, but I've asked for more pictures of the outside, USB-C port, and screenshots showing the serial number and firmware.
Any help would be appreciated before I buy it.

Stats.fm is becoming impossible to enjoy :(
Am I the only one getting increasingly frustrated with Stats.fm lately?
I paid because I genuinely enjoy tracking my music habits, but it feels like every update introduces new issues while old ones remain unresolved. Syncs randomly fail, stats sometimes take ages to update, features seem inconsistent across devices, and whenever there's a problem the response is usually "wait for it to fix itself."
The whole reason many of us use Stats.fm is because we care about accurate data. When data is missing, delayed, or inconsistent, the app loses its entire purpose.
I don't mind bugs. Every app has bugs. What annoys me is feeling like reliability has taken a back seat while more and more features keep getting added. I want Stats.fm to succeed because it's honestly one of the coolest tracking apps out there. But right now it feels like we're paying to beta test features while basic functionality struggles to stay consistent.
Is anyone else feeling this way, or have I just been unlucky lately?
Morphe settings crashing/restarting app on patched YouTube & YouTube Music
Patched both YouTube and YouTube Music and installed them successfully. Everything works fine until I open the in-app Morphe settings. As soon as I tap it, the app restarts and throws me back to the homepage instead of opening the settings menu.
This happens on both YT and YT Music.
Tried: Reinstalling both apps - Clearing cache/data - Repatching and reinstalling - Restarting device
Still getting the same issue.
Anyone else facing this or know a fix?
