🪨 Oedolgae Rock (외돌개)

A beautiful and peaceful coastal spot with great views of the sea. What I liked most was the story behind Oedolgae Rock—the legend about an old woman waiting for her husband who never returned from the sea, and how she eventually became the rock. Knowing the story made the place feel more meaningful than just seeing a rock in the ocean.
The surrounding coastal scenery and walking paths are also really nice. Worth visiting if you’re around Seogwipo, especially if you enjoy places with local legends and history.

finally visited Songdo Beach at sunset… and I think it’s one of Busan’s most underrated spots.

finally had the chance to spend an evening at Songdo Beach, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to be this beautiful.
I visited on a weekday, so it wasn’t too crowded, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. I even had the chance to swim in the sea, and it was definitely one of the highlights of my trip.
Watching the sunset over the ocean, the city lights gradually come on, seeing the Skywalk and the cable cars crossing the water—it all created such a peaceful atmosphere. I ended up staying much longer than I had planned, just listening to the waves and taking photos.
I thought I’d share a few of my favorite shots from that evening. If you’re planning a trip to Busan and enjoy quiet coastal walks, ocean views, or sunset photography, I’d definitely recommend adding Songdo Beach to your itinerary.
What’s your favorite place in Busan to watch the sunset? I’d love to discover a few more spots.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Busan – One of the most beautiful temples I’ve ever visited 🇰🇷

I’ve been living in Busan, and Haedong Yonggungsa is still one of my favorite places to visit. The combination of the temple, rocky coastline, and ocean views never gets old. I took these photos during a recent visit and thought I’d share them here. If you’re ever in Busan, this place is definitely worth a visit!
