ixi gears copper shift knob
Been shopping around for a new shift knob for a bit of customization and new feel. Compared function first, rennline, Black Forest industries, and others but ended up with ixi gears because the price was just too good and the quality is on par with all the other brands that cost way more.
I was worried it would be too bright or orange, but it’s very warm and bronzey copper in real life. I liked that it kinda matches the amber lights in all the lcd’s on the dash.
I’ve heard them say for early boxsters, you gotta file the thru hole a bit to fit because the shift stalk is wider but I didn’t have to make any mods because I previously upgraded to a 997 shifter assembly from suncoast Porsche.
Also, since there’s a threaded adapter on there now, it opens up a whole new world of other shift knobs.
Does anyone happen to know the size of the thread? Thanks in advance!
