[Hiring] Long-Form Editor for Cyberpunk Gaming Channel
Hey, y'all!
I'm Ian — and I run Ian Ilano TV, a Cyberpunk lore channel generating 10–15M monthly short-form views. I'm trying my hardest to branch into longer lore videos (8–10 minutes). Right now I write, voice, and edit everything myself, plus I have another editor on other projects — but with new responsibilities I just can't find the time to edit anymore. So I'm looking for help.
To respect your time, I try to take care of most of the prep-work (e.g., VO cut, captions, B-roll provided with visual script to match). All so you can focus on the creative pacing and flow.
What I Provide:
- An Adobe Premiere project with a cut-up VO track (already trimmed with captions).
- A visual/audio script (tells you what clip ideally goes where or creative direction).
- B-roll and clips to use.
What You'd Do:
- Assemble everything in Adobe Premiere.
- Sync the visuals, B-roll, and SFX to the VO and captions (some SFX can be provided, however, you may have to use your own licensed library).
- Add transitions and SFX where needed.
- Keep pacing tight.
- Light polish wherever needed (cleaner cuts, basic sound balance, etc.).
Length and Turnaround: Videos run about 8-10 minutes. Realistically I'm hoping for a 5-7 day turnaround once assets are delivered.
Deliverables and Handoff: I host and upload myself, so I need the project back clean:
- The packaged Premiere project.
- Please edit in Premiere Pro 2026 (or the most current public release).
- If you use any custom fonts or paid plugins, list them so I can match.
What I'd Pay: I'd pay a 50/50 split (50% up-front, the remaining on delivery). All videos include one round of revisions.
- $400 for the first video — a paid trial so we can see if we click (shorter 8-minute script).
- If it's a fit, I'm hoping to move to $1,800/month for three videos.
- We can discuss internally, but once long-form revenue reaches a certain threshold, I'm happy to expand to $3-$4K/month.
I'm looking for someone experienced with long-form lore or narrative edits, and someone who genuinely understands pacing and retention. Bonus points if you're a Cyberpunk choom.
If you're interested, DM or comment your portfolio and your favorite Cyberpunk fact.
Thanks, everyone!
