I'm a shopping addict writing a thesis about shopping addiction. Would you fill out my survey?
Hi everyone 👋
I'm a master's student writing my thesis on shopping addiction, overconsumption, and how marketing and social media play into it. I'm also someone who personally struggles with compulsive shopping, which is honestly a big part of why I chose this topic. It felt important to research something I actually live with rather than just read about.
I've put together a short anonymous survey (takes about 5–7 minutes) looking at the emotional, financial, and social sides of shopping habits. I'd really appreciate it if any of you could take a few minutes to fill it out. Your answers would genuinely help me build a stronger case for why shopping addiction deserves to be taken more seriously.
The survey is completely anonymous and your responses will only be used for academic research. There's also an optional follow-up interview at the end if you'd be open to sharing more about your experience.
