Ex-Muslim (30M) living in Eastern Europe — looking to connect with fellow agnostics/atheists for casual chats or calls

Hey everyone,

I’m a 30-year-old living in Eastern Europe. My personal journey led me away from Islam, and I now identify fully as an agnostic atheist.

Leaving my former beliefs behind has meant stepping away from old social structures, and as a result, life has gotten pretty quiet and isolated over the last few years. I’m looking to rebuild a normal social circle and connect with people who share a similar worldview or can relate to navigating life from an agnostic/atheist perspective.

I'd love to find people (male or female) to chat with, exchange ideas, or jump on a call sometimes to hang out and talk about life, tech, or daily stuff.

If you’re open to making a new contact or just having a low-pressure conversation, feel free to drop a comment or send me a DM.

Sloping/tilted ground with new glasses went away after one week

Hi everybody, I just want to share an important info for people that are getting eyeglasses for the first time and experiencing a titled or sloping ground when they look down. I had the same thing happen to me as I got my first eyeglasses for the first time in my life less than 3 weeks ago. When I put them on and looked at the grass the ground looked like it was a hill and not flat. I thought I got the wrong prescription/lenses and I was worried that this will stay. After I kept wearing them all day for like one week, the ground started looking normal and my brain and vision completely got used to it and calibrated that effect. Now I don't have that problem at all.

Just putting it out there so that someone one day might benefit from this post.

Thank you.

Edit: my eyeglasses were for astigmatism only and not nearsightedness or something else.

Zoloft is undisputed

So I am a person who sometimes get obstructed by problems in life and I have waves of bad thoughts, bad image about the world and can get easily feel down and see the world very negatively and fall victim to my own negative perspective. Back then before I started Zoloft those things would linger with me and it wasn't easy at all to overcome them. However, now that I am under the full effect of 50mg Zoloft I can easily come back from negative mindsets and can see the world in a positive way. If someone gives me a bad comment, mocks me, stares at me or laughs or something, it doesn't change my entire world view or understanding of reality. My understanding of good and bad is very realistic and I always see hope in the darkest hours. In the last 4 months for example, I had faced some problem in life and most of them stemmed from other people, but none of their effects lasted more than 3 days let's say. That's the maximum, some just stay for an hour and then Zoloft knocks them out with a KO and they go away completely and I'd be back feeling good, blessed, happy, and ready to move on.

I now understand that anxiety and depression are very connected and intertwined, because what makes me depressed sometimes is the same thing that causes me to worry and feeling good and happy due to Zoloft makes me not worry and see a way out of my problems.

What I want to say, that there is nearly no problem related to depression or anxiety that Zoloft can't beat. This medication just keeps helping me overcome hurdles.

Let's go guys!!! hurraaay!!
