Ring Concierge?

Just received their email stating: "We're winding down the Concierge Club program. As of 8/20/2026, points will no longer accrue on purchases. Any existing points currently in your account remain valid for redemption for one year from the date they were earned..."

I have one mini tennis bracelet that has held up well and a necklace I gave as a gift... no major stake in this (didn't even know they gave out points for things). But I am just wondering....is this only about winding down the rewards program or the first step in winding down everything?!

Wonderful human IAH-LAX yesterday + a few thoughts about IAH

Hi, longtime United (and Continental!) flyer and lurker here, first time to post!

I was in line to board yesterday, having barely made it on time despite having arrived at least 2 hours before my flight.. more on that below. Noticed a woman in the line who did not speak / read much English asking a gentleman about her boarding pass which read See Agent.

He did his best to explain to her what to do and then got out of line, walked with her to the desk, helped her ask what to do and get a seat assignment. Explained to her what her seat was vs her boarding group and said "don't worry, we're going to get you on". She was assigned a later boarding group but they let her get on when he did and he continued to point her in the right direction.

It honestly warmed my heart. In a world of hectic, late, crowded terrible travel moments he chose to help a stranger instead of look away. If he happens to read here --- you are a great person!

And now my thoughts on IAH... wow. Feels like they've been renovating for 20 straight years. Can honestly say this is the worst the parking and A/B/C terminals have ever been for me. If you're going to park, make a reservation. If you fly out of C but have to park in A or B make sure you know how to get between them. There was some sort of sad bus shuttle on the first floor with a 30 person line so we skipped that and walked around through the parking lot. All relatively manageable but if you have mobility challenges, a lot of luggage or kids or don't leave enough time it could really mess up your trip. When are they going to fix this airport?!

Thank you all for your informative and entertaining posts!
