Looking for a seven seater below 250k

Hi guys,

I’m looking for a seven seater, something that can have four car seats for kids and I think that would be a practical car.
I’ve stated the budget but don’t know if I should get something like a Renault Triber or like a Kia Sorento.
I don’t like the uber type cars, at first I was looking at these because it seems I can get a very good quality Triber/ Avanza for this budget, but I’m really not a fan.
I am worried with the Kia Sorento it won’t be as nice/ high mileage or things wrong. I have looked at webuycars and this seems to be the case.
Fortuner seems to be a risk.
I would love the latest Kia carnival but obviously that’s way out of budget.

Which family car would you recommend that could accommodate these kids?

Are there mediators here? How is it?

Hi everyone,

Just want to find out if anyone works as a mediator, do you work for yourself or in a company? How did you go about your training/ qualifications?
Are you able to get clients?
I specifically want to go into family mediation, I have two degrees and would do the training to qualify as a mediator. I am just worried how I will position myself to get clients and if it’s “worth it”.
I am currently a sahm for now, and would want to end up working for myself.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Would you take out debt for a medical aid?

Hi guys,

Would you take out a loan to pay for the medical aid of a parent who receives life saving treatment (dialysis)? Parent does not have savings and gets SASSA grant + has a gambling problem. She left gvt hospital last year due to emotional reasons (claims that staff where mistreating her) and we had to put her in pvt healthcare to save her life but cannot afford it anymore unless I go into debt.

I am a sahm of 4 littles, I feel like this would be putting myself in a difficult place to get out of but I don’t have another plan. I don’t have an income, I studied but can’t find work. I have a start up idea but need to save funds for that.

Medical aid isn’t letting me change to a cheaper option because of her complex medical needs. Siblings don’t earn much to help out and dad’s funds have run out as he also has a terminal illness.

Edit:
Medical aid is R6400.
Husband transfers money to me for household costs and my dad’s caregiver, there is usually a small amount left which I would try dedicate to paying off the debt but it would be very tight.
Husband is the income for now I guess.
My credit card allows R10k credit. I would pay for this month but not have a plan for next month unless I take a loan.
Not sure if I will get approved for the loan and money does come into my account but not through a job. I was thinking for getting a 34k loan to cover until December whilst I think of another plan.
