How to spend my morning? Staying near ITU

Hi there,

Any suggestions on how to spend a morning? I need to be back at my hotel near ITU by 12:30pm.

Options are:

  1. **Sapphire Tower Observation Deck** \- is this worth it?
  2. **Emirgan Park (Google suggested this)** \- Any good restarants/cafes nearby? How long is the Boardwalk?

Anything else I should consider?

I had been thinking to head down and see Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque early in the morning, but Google tells me it's too far and I may not make it back in time.

First time visit, questions

Hi there,

I'll be in Istanbul on a business trip in early July and have a few questions. I'm interested in photography and sightseeing.

  1. CAPPADOCIA: I'm considering staying an extra 2 days to either explore Istanbul or visit Cappadocia. A third option is to stay an extra 4 days and do both. Is a 2 day tour to Cappadocia from Istanbul enough time, or should I just stick with Istanbul?

  2. STAND UP PADDLE BOARD: Is this a thing in Istanbul and where can I go? Are there any half day excursions?

  3. SHOPPING: Where can I buy women's casual clothing and business attire? What are the best brands and best shopping areas?

  4. PRINCES ISLANDS: If I stay in Istanbul, I want to do some excursions. Is this a good idea or are there other excursions to consider that I can do on my own without joining a tour group?
