I’m using a Galaxy S23 and the camera quality is honestly amazing when I view the photos/videos in gallery. But the moment I upload them to WhatsApp the quality drops a lot.

Especially videos:

• look blurry
• lose details
• colors don’t look as good
• WhatsApp status quality becomes terrible

Even using WhatsApp HD mode doesn’t really help much. What confuses me is that iPhone uploads usually look much cleaner on the same apps. I’ve noticed this especially on WhatsApp statuses.

Any apps that help improve video quality before uploading?

Any settings/tips that actually help preserve quality on WhatsApp ?

Would appreciate any suggestions from fellow Samsung/Android users.
