Panel 1 is almost done, Panel 2 is halfway done and Panel 3 is still in stickfigures.

I know, this is mostly common knowledge in the community well kind of but let me share my twist on the theory and add more supporting evidence and my theory on why the house is like this.

So my theory goes like this, the house was originally meant to be a purgatory and afterlife of a dying child, the purgatory of the child gets corrupted after another variable/human comes in (most likely a friend or relative of the dying child).

The house breaks, trying to do something with the 2nd variable, it makes another room for the 2nd variable registering them as a permanent guest in the house along with the dying child and so are the future children to enter the house.

Supporting evidence of the theory: The weird and odd slope, the single swing by the tree, the outside always being dark instead of a normal day and night cycle, the broken hallway.

Also, with chapter 13 we get to know that Mother knows alot about Catie's family, she already knew Catie's name without hearing it, so it means that the Dying wish kid is related to Catie's family like an older sibling.

And theres this theory that related children of the Backwards House have the same gene family as their species, like all the feline children being Catie's family members, brother or sister (i guess that theoretically relates Od Dog and Foxtrot due to them being canines).

We know Catie clearly isnt the first one here so they arent the dying wish kid,

So the dying wish kid is either Tommy or Percy, Tommy is the one we havent seen yet so lets just wait.

This might sound crazy and not everyone would agree with me but, what if Percy is the dying wish child, he has a rebellious attitude against Mother, still remembers despite being locked away (most likely by the scratched names but still).

The reason on why he is so aggressive with Mother is because of him still able to remember, all the time being in the House seeing his friends basically fade into stale cartoon variants of themselves, he is the only one with the memory of that he still remembers them but they dont remember themselves.

He hates his world, he hates the person that takes care of this broken world. And he wants to kill the person that continues to run the de railed train

But thats a theory, a BACKWARDS THEORY thanks for reading

The city/town looked like Tilted towers to me so i made this edit i guess.

Just made with felt, pipe cleaners, markers and a ribbon for his bandana.

Used a claw machine prize as a base for the pendant.

In the new chapter, we see Mother talking to the 11th child of the house, expressing her frustration to them and how she wants everyone to be "Happy" here and be one with the house instead of holding to that one name that keeps their old self going.

It made me question her character more

And yet she wants them "Happy" or what happiness means to her in this world.

Does she think escaping from the burden of reality is "happiness" when they still have passions in reality they want to do instead of staying with her?

Does she think that she is doing whats "best for them"?

It feels like a parallel of Caine and a bit of a mix of MFC (Mystic Flour Cookie from CRK, the beast of Apathy who wants others to let go of their burdens and thanos snap everyone and everything).

I dont think she is generally Evil (Well shes a psychopath doesnt change much), she still "cares" for them in a way but she cant understand why some want to leave instead of staying in a paradise like this (especially with inflation these days, life is getting more expensive day after day)

So, what are you're thoughts about her?

Yes it might be a bit unrealistic but its a fun thought.

If i had a nickel for every fandom that has an indie character so beloved by their community that rule 34 art of them is frowned upon in the fandom, i'll have two nickels, which isnt much but its weird that it happened twice

Its weird that they have audio like this, for kids..

Yeah of course i want to hear my comfort character to be screaming in agony after i press a button a couple of times! (this is satire, obviously)

Still, id doubt these audio's from the cut outs are the original audio since its for children, i bet some SPECIFIC toy warped the audio as a warning for toys if they disobeyed HMMM
